Assalamu Alaikum warahmathullahi Wabarakaathuhu
My fervent wish has been to help everybody. I feel very happy to see that my wish to serve others which I have nursed since my childhood has not been in vain. When I was a child, I made it a habit to help others in whatever way possible by me. I am continuing to help others even today. First of all, I am bound to thank the Almighty Allah for enabling me to help others in the best possible way.
I thought of starting to implement my wish to help others in my own village. Accordingly I have been helping the Madrasas, Arabic Colleges and the mosques in my area, as far as possible.
As I realized that the outcome of education would be sweeter than honey, I decided with the consensus of my children to dedicate a piece of land purchased for
my children for the benefit of the community. I strived to expand my valuable service by establishing an Educational Centre on that land.
With the help of Almighty Allah, I have established in that Educational Centre a Prayer room, A Qur’an Madrasa and a Library which can be used by anybody irrespective of their race or religion. My goal is to enhance the educational level of the younger generation of today and to increase the level of literacy in the community.
I’m ready to assist and motivate children who are determined to pursue their education. As one of the steps to motivate the students, I have been awarding Certificates of Appreciation as well as prizes to all those who have been successful in the Grade 5 scholarship examination in the Kalutara district. I expect the mercy of Almighty Allah and the cooperation of all the people concerned, to enhance this project further.
Further, as I wished to help people at their last moment, I have purchased a vehicle within my capacity and have made arrangements for it to be used for Janaza (funeral) service. I hope this service of mine would improve further in future.
I am happy to say that these services will not end with me as my children are determined to continue them in future.
Thank you.
